Struggling to find a simple skincare routine that works

I feel like every time I try to improve my skincare routine, I end up overcomplicating it. There are so many products and steps, and I’m never sure what’s actually necessary.

I’d really love a simple routine that keeps my skin healthy without using too many products. Has anyone found a minimal routine that genuinely works for them?

I totally get this — skincare can get overwhelming so quickly.

I personally keep it pretty simple. I wash my face twice a day, follow it with toner and moisturiser, and during the day I never skip sunscreen before stepping out. That routine has worked well for me, especially since my skin is fairly trouble-free (though it’s combination, so I still have to balance it a bit).

I also like doing a simple homemade face pack once in a while — nothing fancy, and I exfoliate maybe once or twice a week to keep things fresh.

I’ve realised that for my skin at least, consistency matters more than adding more products. Sometimes less really is more.
