Okay, genuine question — how did you all start investing without feeling completely confused?

Every time I try to read about it, I either feel overwhelmed or like I’m about to make a mistake 😅

If you focus on lower-risk investing, what approach made sense to you in the beginning?

so a quick update, I have been reading about options like fixed deposits, index funds, and SIPs that are considered relatively lower risk compared to direct stock picking. It made me realise maybe investing doesn’t have to be complicated from day one.

For those who started conservatively — did you begin with something simple like this before exploring other options? Or am I oversimplifying it?
